The standard this site works to

The site is built toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, level AA, as a working target.

No conformance certification, audit, or accessibility seal is claimed. The target is stated so it can be held against the site, and so a barrier can be reported as a failure to meet it.

Choices built into the design

No meaning is carried by color alone. The evidence grade always prints its tier as a word, and its meter uses fill and a visible border rather than a red-to-green scale.

Scores, prices, and comparisons are real HTML text in real tables. Nothing a reader needs is locked inside an image.

Every interactive element keeps a visible focus outline. Focus rings are never removed for appearance.

Body text is set at a size chosen for long reading, and the page reflows rather than requiring a fixed window width.

Known limits

The full comparison matrix is wide. It scrolls sideways inside its own container, with the first and last columns pinned, which asks more of a small screen than the rest of the site does.

The same data appears above it in a narrower quick-pick table and below it in written reviews, so no fact is reachable only through the wide matrix.

Content on providers' own websites is outside our control, and a link that works here can lead to a page that is harder to use.

Report a barrier

Include the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology and browser you were using. That is usually enough to reproduce a problem and fix it.

If a page is unusable for you, ask for the content in another format and it will be sent.

How reports are handled

A reported barrier is treated as a defect in the site rather than a preference. Fixes go into the design standard so the same problem does not return on the next page built.
